Then...and Now

Last summer, this was Jane:

This is Jane now:

She loves to jump on the trampoline with her Papa, go down the slide with her Grandpa, play with her Grandmas, swim and ride the rocking horse with Mommy, hike and spin and chase with Daddy and she is just growing up so quickly.

Jane and Taylor (her cousin who is just six weeks older) just spent some quality time together while Taylor's parents went out of town for a few days and we spent time with our cousins. They are so cute together and look very similar with blond hair and blue eyes. When we took Sarah to the Orthodontist, I was asked by nearly every person if Taylor and Jane were twins. And of course they raved about the babies.

John greatly increased his popularity this weekend as he waved to the citizens of our city atop a float in the 4th of July parade. Dressed in full 1776 costume, he alternated between waving, tossing candy and signing the Declaration of Independence as he rode along.

We celebrated John's birthday this week with lots of parties and frisbee cupcakes for his coworkers. He is the best Dad and most fantastic husband. We love you John!

  1. It's fun to see all those pictures of Jane in sequence. She has a more grown up look about her, doesn't she? And the 4th of July float looks great! Wish we could have come to see that. It was fun that they got to wear those authentic looking costumes.
