We're Growing

Baby Bence is growing.  Here are some recent photos:

We washed the car on Saturday. Jane was a good helper...running through the sprinklers, scrubbing the cars, washing out the washcloths...

 

Her favorite thing lately is blankets (or in this case a towel).  She very neatly lays out her blanket, smoothing out all the wrinkles and then lays down for a nice, and brief, nap...3 secs long. Then, all over again.  Apparently, it's still fun to nap when it's 100 degrees outside on scorching pavement:

 

 

I still don't think she can feel her body completely yet because we all got sunburned on our backs (I didn't realize that sunscreen won't sear through the front of the body to the back) and as John and I are wincing with pain, Jane seems to be quite pain free. Good girl. I'll be better to apply on all sides next time. 

Oh, Bence was a good helper too...

 

After washing the car, we decided we hadn't had enough of 100 degree weather, so we ventured to Midsommar, the Swedish celebration of the longest day of the year. Bence was cute enough to dress up for the occasion: 

          John and Jane very un-authentically drank Italian sodas at the Swedish party. They are much better though than Saft.
