In an effort to escape the heat, and because we love the mountains, we strapped on our shoes and went for a hike on tues. John was off for the holiday and we had a great time. It was probably the first hike with kids that we have ever made it to our destination. It helped that the ending point was just less than a mile away.
These big rocks were great for jumping off of course.
