Annie and Rachel were so cute. Annie would walk around, pointing to Jane or Spencer, "Is that yours?" Or after putting them to bed, "Why aren't you sleeping with your child?" She could never get the baby's gender right. "She needs her binki." or "She IS a boy".
Emma was cute with Bence.
We later went up to a couple of cabins with all of my mom's side of the family where we enjoyed Olympics (grape toss, wheelbarrow races, frisbee, etc)
lots of good food
and a talent show, in which, we sadly weren't as talented as we were hoping to be. Our main act refused to sing "supercalifragilisticexpealidocious".
We enjoyed the beach and then a marvelous hike. Sophie, my niece, was
drinking blue Powerade on the hike. She turned to me during a difficult
part, "This Powerade isn't giving me any POWER. They should just call it
blue water. "
Here's the family so far. So cute and now I'm in mourning that they have all gone home. If anyone has jobs for several engineers and a physical therapist, I would be most grateful. Even though I am sad to see them go, I am grateful for the once again assurance that family is most precious to me. I'm so thankful to my Savior who provides a way that we can be together eternally. And I'm so happy to have been welcomed into John's wonderful family. It's great to have two marvelous families to love.
