Easter, arizona and other things

I confess that I did a poor job of emphasizing the spiritual aspect of Easter this year. We had two egg hunts and in an effort to remind Jane of the true meaning of Easter one day right before the hunt, we talked about the resurrection. I explained that after we die we will live again.
She left and a few moments later, I heard her calling to John happily, "Dad, Jesus died! And we're going to die too!" Guess we didn't quite get the message through.

Here we are hunting with Megan and friend. Small hunt.

Later we invited families from our neighborhood to come have a hunt in our field.

Easter Sunday, we enjoyed being with family and celebrating the living Christ. It was a special time and we felt of the joy of our Savior!

When not celebrating holidays, We are busy fitting into tight spaces...

...our poor baby who gets put in a drawer on occasion.

We also went to Phoenix to escape the cold and visit Papa.

Jane was a princess all weekend at Ruthie's house.

We hiked, basked in the sun. Temp was snowy and cold back home.

Hole in the rock.

Bence and Peter were so cute! Specials thanks to all the Andrews and Papa for being so fun and kind! We loved being with our cousins!

Jane loves this stuffed cougar in Peter's room. It looks like it could eat her.

We had fun playing with Jack and grant too!

When we came home, spring was on the way. I was so happy I took pictures of the hyacinth by the front door. Jane is so nice to pick me a petal every so often as a gift.

All these good things remind us of the happiness that stems from the goodness of Christ. How thankful we are for Him!

  1. Sounds like Jane at least understands Easter better than Eliot. She told me it was okay if Violet drowned in the pool, because she would come back to life in three days. I am now terrified for Violet's life.

I love the picture of Spencer in the drawer.
