arrggg

I'm trying really hard not to be depressed right now with the blizzard that is falling outside my window. When we left the grocery store today, it was 50 and sunny degrees and now, two hours later, we might as well be at the north pole.

The good side of this is that we are doing more Jane-friendly activities at home.  I've pulled out my dusty box of art supplies and looked up on every blog on earth trying to figure out what kind of art moms do with three year olds and babies.  Each project lasts about 1 minute, long enough to get out everything, make a mess and then move on to the next item.  But, we've mostly been having fun.  This has been a goal of mine for months and it has taken three feet of snow outside to entice me to get crafty.  Definitely can't say I'm committed to art projects for life though.  I much prefer to be at the zoo in the sunshine.

Here's Jane and her friend Caleb playing together with model magic dough.
Bence is climbing all over the place.

When we're not project-ing, I force Jane to clean and cook with me. Lucky for us, she smiles well for the camera.

I'm glad to be a mom, sun, snow, ice and all.
But, Old Papa, Arizona is looking like a really enticing option now.
